OpenTable, a provider of online restaurant reservations and part of Booking Holdings, partnered with Caviar, Grubhub and UberEats to offer delivery and pick-up options at thousands of restaurants on OpenTable’s newly updated iOS app. Diners who choose delivery on the app are directed to the restaurant’s preferred partner(s) to complete the transaction. For restaurants with multiple delivery partners, OpenTable shows each choice. At launch, Caviar, Grubhub and UberEats powered delivery for more than 8,000 restaurants across 90 metros in the U.S. on the app. Future features will include estimated delivery time and cost. Executives said the delivery option is a boon for bad weather and other detriments that may cause people to have to cancel their reservations, and instead can have the meal they planned to have in the restaurant delivered to their home.

To capitalize on the growing trend for healthy, kid-friendly snacks, Crystal Farms has launched Nibblers and Little Nibblers to its expanding line of on-the-go cheese offerings. As part of this product launch, Crystal Farms is donating more than 500,000 individual servings of Nibblers and Little Nibblers to Feed the Children, a non-profit organization.

Lift Bridge Brewing Company, Stillwater’s first craft brewery since Prohibition (and last year’s Charlie Award winner for Best Brewery), announced its Lift Bridge Cherry Firework Hard Seltzer’s availability is exclusively at Ball Park Cafe at the 2019 Minnesota State Fair. Crafted with all-natural Midwestern cherries, the seltzer is 5 percent ABV, 120 calories and gluten-free. “Ball Park Cafe has been an incredible partner since the release of Mini Donut Beer in 2013,” said Brad Glynn, vice president of marketing and co-founder of Lift Bridge Brewing Company. In addition, Lift Bridge Key Lime Pie Beer will make its second appearance at Cafe Caribe after its debut last year. The citrus ale has a “refreshing squeeze of key lime with biscuity-golden notes, sweetened with a touch of lactose and rimmed with vibrant green sugar reminiscent of the tropics,” the company said in a release. Only at the fair!
