Charlies Week on Twin Cities Live

Five of our Charlies finalists made appearances on Twin Cities Live the week of January 14. The show airs on KSTP-ABC from 3 to 4 p.m., on channel 5. In addition to talking about the Charlies with hosts Steve Patterson and Elizabeth Ries, the finalists shared a recipe and how to cook it.

Below are the pictures and the link to the segment, in case you, like us, are stuck behind a desk—or in a kichen. Thanks to both Steve and Elizabeth for being such engaging interviewers and to Molly Steinke of Nemer Fieger for setting up the interviews.

The Charlies will honor all the finalists on Sunday, January 27, at the Pantages Theater in downtown Minneapolis, starting at 3:30 p.m. One finalist from each of 14 categories will take the stage to accept the coveted Charlie Award. The show is a local version of the Academy Award for the foodservice and beverage industry, with entertainment, comedy sketches and hoopla as the industry celebrates itself and its stars. The ceremony is followed by the Afterparty next door at Seven Steakhouse & Sushi. Your $30 ticket gets you into the show and the Afterparty.
