The Site and Sounds of the Mill City Farmers’ Market

There’s more to a farmers’ market than produce and protein as evidenced by our recent visit to the Mill City Farmer’s Market in Minneapolis. Sandwiched in between the Guthrie Theater and Spoonriver restaurant, the market overflows from outdoors to indoors. Restrooms are conveniently located in the Mill City Museum.

In our quick tour, we found music, an art way station for children, Brenda Langton of Spoonriver checking out the produce, recycling of coffee bags into wall art, pampered pooches getting a free ride, oversized treats for dogs and the herbs and fresh vegetables that are the main draw.
