Bite Me: Parasole’s Delivery Marketing




Nobody does irreverent marketing better than Parasole Restaurant Holdings. And when a billboard goes up for the multi-concept restaurateur’s Chino Latino brand and he doesn’t get a few angry phone calls, “I don’t feel like I’m doing my job,” CEO Phil Roberts says. The infamous billboards even made a City Pages article in 2010 titled, Parasole’s Top 10 Offensive Billboards.  The latest delivery-centric billboards, penned by longtime collaborator Tim Alevizos of Supervox Agency, are a little tamer than usual, but still effective. And a nice nod to their third-party delivery service, Bite Squad, also headquartered in Minneapolis.
