Chefs Share Their Career Path at Free Event Oct. 10

As part of the Chefs Talking Point Series, hosted by Mise en Place Consulting, five chefs will be discussing their career paths and the nitty gritty of the culinary world in the Twin Cities. The free event is Tuesday, October 10, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the Indeed Brewing Taproom in NE Minneapolis.

Participating chefs are JD Fratzke of Bar Brigade, Republic and Red River Kitchen (as well as the celebrated Strip Club Meat and Fish); Larry D’Amico of D’Amico & Sons, Campiello, Lurcat and D’Amico Catering; Mark Haugen of Franklin Street Bakery, Tejas Express at the State Fair and chef director of the Taste of the NFF; Janene Holig of Hot Indian Food Truck and all its locations; and Gary Hjellming, president of the Minneapolis Chapter of the ACF and executive pastry chef at Hyvee Shakopee.

Pat Weber, founder of Mise en Place, will be the moderator.

Hors d’oeuvres and Indeed brews will be on tap.
