Cochon 555 is bringing its prestigious and pork-centric culinary competition to Minneapolis for the first time and local chefs are getting involved.
That’s because on Tuesday, December 16, all Chipotle restaurants in Minnesota (and select Wisconsin locations) will donate 50 percent of the day’s proceeds to the local program, which distributes toys to children whose parents can’t afford to buy them gifts for the holidays.
Three cheers and a flashback look to another year of the fun Charlie Awards, which found us seeing some great old friends and smiling faces at every turn. The theme this fourth year was “Honor Thy Food,” which wowed us on stage at the Pantages, then was followed by the “Palate-Pleasing Post-Party” of cocktails and food sampling at the IDS Crystal Court.
